Maintenance

Warning the BundGuard system feeding the FilterSepta, automatically starts

power to the unit should be isolated before opening the lid of the FilterSepta.

Wear protective clothing when carrying out the procedure below appropriate to the type

of oil/oils present.

Solvents and degreasers should not be used when carrying out maintenance as this will

affect the separation performance.

FilterSepta 2 units should be visually checked regularly to ensure there is no significant build-up of

contaminants and actioned appropriately. The FilterSepta 2 units should be cleared of contaminants on

regular intervals. This involves removal of any silt and oil build up as well as washing down of the

coalescing filter together with cleaning of the sensor probes. We recommend that they should be

maintained every 6 or 12 months – depending on the specific site.
