Explanation of Symbols

Read through safety instructions carefully and follow

them to prevent personal injury and damage to property.

The articles are intended to be used for storing, heating and

freezing food.

The articles are suitable for temperatures of from approx.

-30°C to +100°C.

The articles are for personal use only and are not intended for

commercial applications.

The articles should only be used as described in these instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

The articles are not a toy!

■

Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away

from children and animals.

■

Never place the articles on a hot electric, glass ceramic or hal-

ogen hob, on a naked ﬂ ame (e.g. gas) or in a hot oven.

■

There may still be some production residues on the articles.

To avoid harmful effects to your health, clean the articles thor-

oughly before you ﬁ rst use them (see the "Cleaning and Stor-

age" section).

■

The articles are microwave-safe. Do not allow the food in the

bowls to come to the boil.

■

"Danger of explosion"! If a bowl is used in the microwave, un-

der no circumstances should it be sealed shut. The lid may

only rest loosely on the bowl.

■

Danger of scalding! The bowls, the lids and the food may be

very hot after they have been placed in the microwave. Han-

dle the articles and the food they contain with care. Use oven

gloves to touch the bowls.

■

If you are freezing food, we recommend that the bowls should

only be two-thirds full as the volume will increase during freez-

ing. This will prevent any damage to the article.

■

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects

caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-

tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Use

Opening / Closing Bowl

1. To open a bowl, place one hand gently on the middle of the lid

and use your other hand to fold up the silicone tabs one after

the other. Then remove the lid from the bowl.

2. To close a bowl, place the lid with the silicone tabs sticking up

onto a matching bowl. Make sure that the lid ﬁ ts correctly when

you do this.

3. Place one hand on the middle of the lid and use your other

hand to fold down the silicone tabs one after the other. Check

that the silicone ring ﬁ ts properly and readjust the silicone tabs

if necessary.

Tip

•

The lids can also be used to cover plates, tins, jars and similar

items as well as fruit that has been cut open.

Attaching the Silicone Ring

1. Place a silicone ring with the tabs facing downwards in front

of you.

2. Take the matching lid and insert it bit by bit into the upper, nar-

rower groove of the silicone ring. When you do this, make sure

that the correct side of the lid is pointing upwards. The printing

must be legible.

4. To remove it, pull off the silicone ring at the sides.

Cleaning and Storage

ATTENTION!

■

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or clean-

ing pads to clean the articles.

■

Clean the articles after each use to prevent the formation of

germs.

•

Clean the articles with warm water and mild detergent.

•

The bowls, lids and silicone rings are dishwasher-safe. Make

sure that the constituent parts do not come into direct contact

with the heating elements.

•

To sterilise the silicone rings, remove them from the lids and

place them in boiling water for 2 – 5 minutes.

•

Dry all constituent parts fully before they are assembled again

and stored away in a clean, dry place out of the reach of chil-

dren and animals.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-

aging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a

recycling centre. Dispose of the articles in an environmen-

tally friendly manner. More information is available from

your local authorities.

Each lid has a valve at the edge.

This is located above the logo. If the

lid rests too ﬁ rmly on the bowl, pull

off the silicone ring where the valve

is and allow the air to escape.

3. Roll the lid with the silicone ring at-

tached by the edge over a ﬂ at, solid

surface to ﬁ x the silicone ring in

place.
