IMPORTANT NOTES

■

The solar lights are designed to decorate ﬂ ower-boxes. Their

storage batteries charge during the daytime via the solar ﬁ elds.

The accumulated energy allows the LED lights to illuminate at

night.

■

The product is intended for private and not for commercial

use. Only use the product as described in the instructions. Any

other use is deemed improper. Store the instructions in a safe

place.

■

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts

to repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

■

Keep children and pets away from the product and packaging

material. The plastic wrappers pose a risk of suffocation!

■

Children must be under supervision to ensure that they do not

play with the product. They could injure themselves with the tip

of the pole, among other things.

■

In the event of extreme weather conditions (e. g. storm, hail) or

if you do not intend to use the products for a prolonged period

of time, turn off the solar unit and store the product in a dry

place.

■

Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! It is only

splashproof.

■

Do not disassemble the product (except for removing the stor-

age battery prior to disposal of the solar unit). Only have the

product repaired by a qualiﬁ ed workshop or by customer ser-

vice.

■

Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe

percussions.

■

Do not use the product if it exhibits visible damages.

■

If a storage battery leaks, make sure that the battery acid does

not come into contact with your skin, eyes, or mucous mem-

branes. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse the affected

area immediately with plenty of clean water and seek immedi-

ate medical attention.

■

Storage batteries may not be disassembled, disposed of in

ﬁ re, immersed in liquids or short circuited.

■

Ensure that the solar ﬁ eld is always clean for the greatest pos-

sible collection of light. Therefore, clean the product occasion-

ally with a damp cloth. Do not use any scouring or abrasive

cleaners to clean the product! They could damage the sur-

face.

■

To ensure it activates automatically, the solar light may not be

situated near other light sources (e. g. lamps).

Overview

Start-up

The solar unit's storage battery must charge for approxi-

mately 8 hours in order for the LED light to illuminate.

1. Unpack the product contents and remove all protective wrap-

pers and stickers, if present. Check all parts for possible trans-

port damages. Should you identify any transport damages,

please promptly consult customer service.

2. Activate the solar units.

3. Mount the products in a place where they can collect direct

sunlight during the whole day preferably. Insert the poles in the

ground of a ﬂ ower-box.

The storage batteries can now be charged by the sunlight. At dusk,

the LED lights will automatically turn on. At dawn, the LED lights

turns off and the storage batteries recharge via the solar ﬁ elds.

Disposal

The packaging material can be recycled. Dispose of the

packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner and make

it available for the recyclable material collection-service.

Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly man-

ner. The product does not belong in the household garbage.

Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old electrical and elec-

tronic appliances. For more information, please contact the

administration in your community.

Batteries and storage batteries must be removed and dis-

posed of separately before disposing of the product. To pro-

tect the environment, batteries and storage batteries may

not be disposed of together with normal household waste.

Instead they must be turned in at collection points. Also be

sure to observe applicable legal regulations on battery dis-

posal.

Removing the storage battery

Loosen the screws of the solar unit. Pry the plate with a screw-

driver. Now, you can remove the storage battery.
