be kept away from the packaging material.

WARNING – Risk of chemical burn by battery acid! Batter-

ies can be deadly if swallowed. Do not leave small children un-

attended with the product. They could take out the batteries. If

a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

CAUTION – Risk of chemical burn by battery acid! If a bat-

tery leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid. Wear

protective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse

the affected area with abundant fresh water immediately and

seek medical assistance.

Only use the battery type speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

■

Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types,

brands or batteries of different capacitances.

■

Take batteries out of the product when they are dead or if you

will not be using the product for a prolonged period. This will

prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

Immediately remove a leaking battery and clean the contacts.

■

Protect the product from: water or other liquids, moisture, heat,

direct sunlight and sub-zero temperatures.

The product must not be used if it exhibits visible damages.

Do not make any changes to the product and do not attempt to

repair it. In the event of any damage, please contact our cus-

tomer service department.

The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.

■

Do not in any case use any cleaners or rough sponges. They

could damage the surfaces. Dust the product off of, if soiled,

wipe it off with a damp, soft cloth.

Check the items supplied for any transport damage. Do not use

the items if they are damaged, instead contact our customer ser-

vice.

In addition, three 1.5 V AA batteries are required.

Before Initial Use

1. Insert three 1.5 V AA batteries (not included) into the battery

compartment:

– Fold up the two locks of the battery compartment and open

the battery compartment.

– Insert the batteries. Ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).

– Close and lock the battery compartment.

2. Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment of

the remote control to activate the battery.

3. Arrange the light branches as desired.

Use

The lights are controlled either via the remote control or the control

button on the battery compartment.

Press the control button repeatedly to switch the lights on and off

and to activate the desired lighting mode.

The remote control has an associated button for each function:

OFF

Mode 1 – 8 Select lighting mode

DIM - / +

TIMER

If the power of the lights diminishes, replace the batteries.

4. Slide the battery compartment all the way back into the remote

control.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the product

and disposed of separately from the product at suitable col-

lection points.
