STEP 3:
Assemble the upper bunk using the 2 x upper bunk
bed ends (A).
On the side which the long safety rail (D) will attach
to (back of bed), install 4 x threaded rods (#3) into
the bed posts.

STEP 4:
2 people required
Slide the long safety rail (D) onto the installed threaded rods on the low bed
ends, one end at a time - this will require 2 people.
Note: The hardware holes should be facing the outside of the bed. The maximum
mattress height mark (small groove) and label should be facing the inside of the bed
with the arrow facing down.
Once in position, secure one side of the long safety rail (D) with 2 x half moon
washer (#4) and 2 x nut (#5). Tighten with spanner.
Do not secure the other end of the long safety rail (D) at this stage, it will be
secured later in the process.
