Changing a halogen lamp

The halogen lamps should be replaced

with the following:

Manufacturer............................... Osram

Lamp type .................................... GU10

Model ........................................ Halopar

Voltage...........................................230 V

Wattage ......................................... 50 W

These halogen lamps are available from

Miele or from specialist retailers.

 Disconnect the rangehood from the

mains electrical supply before

replacing the lamps (see "Warning

and Safety instructions").

 Remove the grease filters.

 Remove the charcoal filters if the

rangehood is being used in

recirculation mode.

Note that halogen lamps become

very hot when in use.

They can cause burns even after

being switched off for some time.

Allow the lamps to cool down for a

few minutes before changing them.

Cleaning and care

 Push down the lighting unit slightly

via the opening in the safety panel.

 Turn the halogen lamp anti-clockwise

and pull it out.

 Screw the new halogen lamp into the

socket and push it upwards. Please

follow the manufacturer's safety

instructions.

 Replace the grease filters and, if

being used in recirculation mode, the

charcoal filters.
