Functions and settings
LSDMX has a basic control panel consists of a DIP-switch (fig.2). Each individual switch has
a number (DIP switch [1] a [10]).
Switch number
Manual mode
To set the manual mode is necessary to position the DIP-switch [8] & [9] to "OFF" and the
DIP-switch [10] to "ON". DIP-switch [1 - 7] allow the setting of colors as shown in the fol-
lowing table:
1
Red
Green
NOTE - When the DIP-switch set to "ON", the priority is given to the DIP-switches with
higher value.
Automatic mode
To set the automatic mode is necessary to position the DIP-switch [10] to "ON". Other set-
tings are shown in the following table:
• DIP-switch [8] to "ON" shows the seven-color jumpy changing effect.
• DIP-switch [9] to "ON" shows the seven-color gradual changing effect.
Every effect has different speeds from slow to fast (setting DIP-switch [1 - 7] to "ON").

DMX mode
To set the DMX mode is necessary to position the DIP-switch [10] to "OFF".
As DMX interface, the unit has 3 poles XLR contacts and RJ45 connectors. The following
table shows the operating mode and DMX value.
The address is set to start as a binary number by means of DIP-switch n° 1 - 9. Thus, it ap-
pears the addition values of DIP-switches positioned to ON.
Example:
Address 24: switch n° 4 and 5 set
to ON
The easiest way is to start from the highest possible place value and to add the smaller
values until the start address will result.
