(2) On the [Adjustment Settings for Operators] screen, press [05 Machine: Maintenance] to

open [0513 Smooth Fusing Belt], select either of [01: Belt Scratches] or [02: Uneven

Gloss: Short Time] and press [Execute].

Select [Belt Scratches] if there are streaks in the edges of the paper and select [Uneven Gloss:

Short Time] if there are patches of uneven glossiness.

After smoothing fusing belt is completed, end the operation by pressing [Exit]

Executing "Developer Refreshing"

If there are symptoms such as dirty background, white spots, uneven density and faded black

parts, these events may be alleviated by consuming degraded toner in the development unit

and adding new toner from the toner bottle. "Execute Developer Refreshing" executes this

processing. This also works when printing a large amount of text data and print results are

uneven.

(1) Press the [Adjustment Settings for Operators] button on the operation panel of the ma-

chine.

(2) On the [Adjustment Settings for Operators] screen, press the [05 Machine: Maintenance]

to open [0508 Execute Developer Refreshing], select either of [01: All Colors] or [02:

Black] and press [Execute].
