CONTENTS:
Unpack the fan onto a soft surface so as not to damage it,
and ensure you have the following items:
a) Hanger bracket assembly
b) Ball joint and downrod assembly
c) Fan motor assembly
d) Metal blades with decorative cages or Solid timber
blades
e) Wall control with face plate
f) Allen key tool
g) Mounting hardware:
wood screws (2), screws (2), lock washers (2),
washers (2), star washers (2)
GENERAL SAFETY:
• All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes, and must be carried out only by a
qualified and licensed electrical contractor.
• To avoid possible electrical shock, before installing your fan, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit
breakers to the outlet box and associated wall switch location. If you can not lock the circuit breakers in the off
position, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.
• To reduce the risk of injury to persons, install the fan so the blades are at least 2.1m (preferably
2.3m) from the floor.
• To reduce the risk of personal injury, attach the fan directly to the support structure of the building
according to these instructions and use only the hardware supplied.
• To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade attachment system when installing, balancing, or
cleaning the fan.
• NEVER insert foreign objects between rotating blades or in the space surrounding oscillating fan unit.
• Be sure to read this manual carefully before beginning installation and save these instructions for later
reference or warranty assistance.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Young
children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
