C. USING THE MODE CHANGE SWITCH
▼ 1. The transmitter can be used in Mode 1 or Mode 2
format. Mode 2 is the most popular mode in the UK
and uses the left-hand stick to control rudder and
throttle and the right-hand stick to control ailerons and
elevator.
▼ 2. To change the transmitter mode, move both the left
and right sticks to their mid-positions. Slide the mode
change switch all the way to the right for Mode 2 or all
the way to the left for Mode 1.
▼ 3. The mode change switch simultaneously swaps the
elevator stick spring over and changes the function of
the sticks.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure the switch is moved all the way to the left or
right to ensure that the sticks operate correctly.
MODE 1
D. FITTING THE LI-PO BATTERY
▼ 1. Ensure the throttle is pulled back fully to the low throttle position.
▼ 2. Always turn ON the transmitter first.
▼ 3. With the power on, the transmitter battery level indicator should illuminate. If there is a continuous
beeping sound, the transmitter batteries need to be replaced.
▼ 4. Taking care to avoid the propeller, connect the charged Li-Po ensuring that the correct polarity is
observed. The plug and socket are shaped so that they only fit one way round. Attach the
connected battery to the underside of the model using the factory fitted hook and loop
material.
