3.3.9 Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI)

The Vertical Speed Indicator displays the aircraft vertical speed using a non-moving tape to the

right of the altimeter. The current vertical speed is displayed using a white arrow along the tape.

3.3.10 Battery Status Indicator

The current charge level of the battery is indicated by the filled-in portion of the battery icon. The

battery icon turns yellow or red to indicate a low-battery condition.

When the G5 is powered by the battery, the estimated time until the battery is empty is displayed

in hours and minutes. Otherwise, the current charge level of the battery in percent is displayed

as a numeric value.

When the G5 is connected to external power and the battery is being charged, a lightning bolt

symbol appears over the battery icon.
