MEMORY KEYS
The Berkshire RD comes with 4 non-volatile (no
batteries required) memories for efficient speed
dialling of preset numbers. These preset numbers
have been set to the following default dial codes;
Memory 1
Memory 2
Memory 3
Memory 4
These numbers are intended to be used by the
PBX as short codes for accessing internal or
external numbers stored within the PBX.
(Note: alternative numbers can be factory prepro-
grammed, details to be supplied to ATL at time of
placing your order. In addition customised printing
can also be associated with the Memory Buttons.
A programming / printing charge may apply)
Making a call via these keys is as simple as lifting
the handset and pressing the preset memory key.
SWITChABLE MESSAGE WAITING
There are three versions of
indication supported within the Berkshire RD
telephone (MW 3, 8 and 10). This selection is
made via a 4 position switch located to the rear of
the phone, indicated by the letters 'MW'.
A 'Ring Indicator' position is provided that has the
additional benefit of being activated by short ring
burst MW signals - see website for details.
In all cases, an LED in the top right hand corner
of the telephone is used to indicate the selected
functions and incoming calls.
Any questions you may have should be directed
in the first instance to your telephone supplier with
details of your PABX.
