To Watch the Satellite (DSS) - Bedroom Television:
1. Turn the power ON for the Antenna Control Unit. This requires 12 Volt DC, the Battery
cut-off switch must be on.
2. Ensure the Elevation Angle Selector angle is set to the current location. The DSS User's
Guide descirbes this process.
3. Select the VIEW mode on the Antenna Control Unit. The Antenna will search for the
Satellite.
4. The Satellite Receiver will turn on automatically when VIEW is pressed.
5. Go to the Video Selector and under REMOTE TV VIEWING, push AUX 1 button
6. Turn on TV and Select Channel 3, or the same channel as the RF Modulator.
NOTE: The satellite remote must be programed for RF to operate from the bed-
room area. Refer to the satellite receiver owner's manual for the procedure.
To Record Using the VCR:
1. On the Video Selector under VCR RECORDING push the button that represents
the program source you wish to record.
• ANT is the Roof TV Antenna which uses the VCR tuner for channel selection.
• AUX 1 is the SATELLITE RECEIVER (Optional)
• AUX 2 is the DVD. DVD discs are copyrighted and cannot be recorded.
• CABLE is the Shore Cable coax feed which uses the VCR tuner for channel selection.
2. Please use the prior instructions on
how to activate each piece of Audio/Video
equipment as desired.
3. Turn on the VCR and insert a blank VCR tape.
4. Push the record button on the VCR or the
VCR remote to begin recording.
NOTE: If recording a "Surround Sound" program from the satellite
receiver only, you must select Line Input from the VCR remote, using the
Input Select buttom. This is the highest quality audio.
NOTE: You can record something from one source, such as the satellite
receiver, while viewing a TV program from the shore cable.
