BEFORE USE
You must:
• You must check that the anchor is the same size as the ring panel lifter.
• The length of the lifting slings should be at least twice the distance
between the anchors in order to achieve 60° angles between the sling
legs. A lifting calculation needs to be done if the angle is greater than
60°. It's always better to use a |ifting beam.
• The concrete strength must be greater or at least equal to 15N/mmz2.
• You must check that the locking bolt is leaning on the concrete.
• When tilt up, the locking bolt must not be on the upper position,
You Must not:
• You must not break 'concrete around the anchor. The ring clutch hooks
the anchor without doing anything else, ~ You must not weld neither
the anchor nor the ring clutch whatever the reason you may have,
IN USE
• The ring clutch is used for all load directions. Maximum load of anchor
and clutch must be considered. Angle pull caused by spreaded chain
suspension is limited by a maximal 60°.
• During the transportation, if the anchor point is being used as a tie-
down point, this could shock or impact it caused by snatch or travelling
on rough ground. A pre lifting check of those anchor points is needed,
• When the anchors are used to lift a unit from a mould, the adhesion
between the freshly cast concrete and the mould Increase the load on
the anchors,
MAINTENANCE
• All ring clutches must be inspected at least once a year by an qualified
person. The casting head must not be deformed,
• The ring panel lifter cannot be repaired.
GENERALITY
• The ring panel lifter must be used only for lifting precast concrete units.
• People who use ring panel lifters have to know the usage and safety
instructions.
• All usage and safety instructions must be respected when you lift
elements.
