Safe sampling
WARNING!
Bodily injury due to uncontrolled escaping liquid
under pressure.
`
`
Wear the appropriate protective clothing.
Point sampling/soil sample
1. Slide the wiping ring to the desired sampling
depth.
2. Slide the piston rod with the aid of the handle
into the instrument up to the stop.
3. Submerge the instrument into the medium to be
sampled up to the desired depth / to the ground.
4. Pull the handle. Thereby, the medium is sucked in by
the piston.
5. Remove the instrument from the medium to be
sampled.
6. Empty the sample into a suitable collecting cont-
ainer by sliding in the piston rod.
All-layer sample
1. Slide the wiping ring to the desired sampling
depth.
2. Slide the piston rod with the aid of the handle
into the instrument up to the stop.
3. Pull the handle while submerging the instrument
into the medium to be sampled up to the desired
depth / to the ground. Thereby, the medium is
sucked in by the piston.
