Appendix A - Troubleshooting

Possible Cause

• poor/no power plug connection

at mains power point

• blown fuse at mains plug

• incorrect audio cable connections

• incorrect amplifier operation

in contact with the chassis

expired

• object obscuring remote sensor on

the AM-777, no "line of sight"

• Interference from fluorescent lights

• loose cable connections

Solution

• insert the power plug firmly into the AC

• check and change mains plug fuse

• connect the sources to the AM-777 correctly

• make sure that the input selector on the AM-

the desired source

• adjust fitting between speaker and chassis

and terminal. Ensure no contact between

chassis and spade terminals (no "short

circuiting")

• replace 2 x AAA batteries

• remove any objects directly in front of the

AM-777

• turn off fluorescent lights or redirect the light

away from the AM-777

• re-attach the loose cables correctly

• go to the Contents section and re-trace the

procedure or contact your nearest AMR

distributor/dealer
