Supplementary instructions for
WR 300 / WR 400 / WR 600
RB 300 / RB 400 / RB 600
For the connection of the RLS D1 WR or RB-
D1-ZF4 Room air control (digital operating
unit) to WR-/RB units
This a supplement to the
0185.1115.0002 / 0185.1134.0000 and
0185.5064.0003 / 0185.5068.0000 Mounting
and Operating instructions.
You should read this supplement as
well as the ventilation unit and
controller mounting and operating
instructions carefully before starting
installation work. Follow the instruct-
tions.

Scope of delivery

● RLS D1 WR (0101.1352.0004) or
RB-D1-ZF4 (0101.1352.0004) room air control
● This supplement
● Controller instructions: Mounting and Operating
instructions (0185.1139.0000)
Installation staff
Only qualified electricians are permitted to
connect up the room air control. They are trained
in electrical engineering and are aware of the risks
and consequences of an electric shock.

Safety instructions

● The safety instructions included in the Mounting
and Operating instruction for the WR.../RB... unit
apply for the connection of the room air control.
● With electrical and unit installations, the relevant
regulations must be observed, particularly DIN
VDE 0100 with the corresponding parts.
● When you open the front cover, a safety switch
(door contact switch) switches the fans off. The
door contact switch should not be bridged.
● Modifications and alterations to the ventilation
unit and the controller are not permitted and
release the manufacturer from any guarantee
and liability.
● Lay all cables so that there is no danger of
tripping.

Connecting the digital operating unit
Danger to life from electric shock.
Prior to accessing the ventilation
DANGER
system's electrical equipment, switch-
off all supply circuits. Switch off
mains fuse, secure against being
accidentally switched back on and
position a visible warning sign.
Risk of damage if ESD sensitive

components on the board
are touched.
Avoid direct touching of the
components or contact surfaces.
WR 300 / WR 400 / RB 300 / RB 400
 Loosen both quick-release clips and open the
front shutter downwards. Remove the 6 screws
that hold the front cover in place. Remove the
front cover. Pull the control circuit board
carefully out of the ventilation unit's terminal
box.
WR 600 / RB 600
 Open the electrical terminal box.
All unit types
 Feed the room air control connection cable
through the cable screw connection into the
electrical connection box.
 Modify the jumper settings on the control circuit
board according to the following wiring diagram
(
page 5 and 7).
 Connect the cables as shown in the following
wiring diagram (
page 5 and 7).
WR 300 / WR 400 / RB 300 / RB 400
 Push the control circuit board back in. Reinstall
the front cover and close the front shutter.
WR 600 / RB 600
 Swing the electrical terminal box cover
downwards and secure it with the screw.
All unit types
 Switch the mains fuse on and remove the
warning notice.
 Switch the ventilation unit on at the room air
control and check to make sure the ventilation
unit is working correctly.
