General
This outdoor sounder is an outdoor combination alarm device with siren and flashing light for use
with alarm panels. It serves as an optical and acoustic alarm. The sounder and alarm panel
communicate via cableways, so fixed wiring is required between the two units. The ABUS Wired
Outdoor Sounder is intended for wall installation.

When installing, ensure that the sounder is fixed out of easy reach (at least 3 m
installation height). In addition, the sounder should be visible and audible from afar.
Note

dispatches of rescue services, such as the fire service or police, must be borne by the
operator of the system.
