Hydraulic Hose Hookup:
Great Plains hydraulic hoses have color coded handle
grips to help hookup hoses to the tractor outlets. Hoses
with the same color use the same remote.
Use the following table to assist with hooking up the
implement:
Color
Black
Green
Red
"Brakes"
Hydraulic trailer brakes (option)
Leveling The Machine Front To Rear:
Note: Prior to leveling the machine front to back, remove
the transport locks and unfold the machine on a level sur-
face.
1) Lower the machine so that the sweeps are 2 to 3
inches off of the ground on the center frame.
2) Using a wrench loosen the jam nut (1).
3) Adjust the turnbuckle at either adjustment nut (2) so
that the front of the machine runs slightly deeper then the
back.
4) Once properly adjusted, re-tighten the jam nut (1).
Leveling The Machine Side To Side:
Wings should be adjusted to match the center section of
the machine.
1) Adjust the eye bolt on each wing to match the center
section. Lengthening the bolt will shallow up the wings
while shortening the bolt will allow the wings to run
deeper.
