Using the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L HBA
Driver and Web RAID Management Software Installation
1. After installing the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L host
adapter, boot to the Mac operating system.
2. Click the "System Information" icon.
3. Click "PCI Cards". "Driver Installed" should be reported as "No"
for this entry.
4. Insert the HighPoint Software CD into your Mac DVD drive and
navigate to the Mac Software package folder:
/Driver/RR64xL/Mac.
5. Double-click on the "*.dmg" file to mount the disc image.
6. Double-click on the installer package labeled
the installation process. The Web RAID Management Software
(Web GUI) for the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L will be
automatically installed alongside the driver.
7. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the RocketRAID 644L /
644LS / 642L HBA driver and Web RAID Management software.
After the install has completed, you will be prompted to restart
your Mac.
