Cautions: Extending the Lens

• Do not place the camera on a surface with the lens pointing down. Be

particularly careful not to turn the camera on while it is resting on the lens, as

the lens may malfunction if it fails to extend.

• Do not hold the telescoping section or attempt to forcibly extend or

retract the lens. Failure to observe these precautions could result in product

malfunction.

• If the lens does not extend or freezes in place once extended, press the

shutter-release button.
