MOTOR DRIVER FIRMWARE UPDATE TO VERSION 1-10

A condition has been reported to Akron Brass where the position of the valve (% Open/Closed) may be displayed

inaccurately after a power cycle. This inaccuracy may be up to 6%. While there is no impact to valve function, the

Akron Brass Company is recommending updating the Motor Driver System Firmware to version 1-10 to eliminate

this possibility.

NOTE: Updating firmware will not overwrite valve assignments, calibrations, or configurations.

1. Select the "Style 9333 & 9335 Navigation Pro System File Rev. 1.5" link and save file "9335001_R1-5.abs to the

root directory of a USB flash drive.

2. Select the "9321 / 6064 Motor Driver System Software 1-10" link and save file "93210001_R1-10.abs" to the

root directory of a USB flash drive.

Update via USB port

1. Turn off power to the 9333/9335 and gain access to the back.

2. Remove the two screws holding the cover over the USB port and remove the cover. Retain for re-assembly after

update.

3. Insert the USB flash drive and turn on power to the 9333/9335 and 9321 Motor Driver

4. The 9333/9335 update will start automatically and may take up to 30 seconds, so do not remove power until

update completes.

5. To update the motor driver, navigate to the setup menu, select OEM CONFIGURATION and the VALVE

DOWNLOAD. Press ENTER. Select YES to download the new file. The display will show download progress and

will prompt you to remove the USB flash drive when completed.
