Checking damping oil

Damping oil can leak out during transport due, for example, to the scales being too steeply

tilted. In this case, make sure you add mineral vaseline oil to the damping system.

The dial mechanism must always be locked in place whenever the scales are

being transported. To lock up the scales dial, turn the black locking handle (2)

clockwise by 180° until it locks into place. Also make sure to tighten the transport

locking screw (1).

The scales should be cleaned when unloaded. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents

while cleaning, but only a damp cloth or conventional disinfectants.

Make sure that no liquid enters the device!

Keep all parts of the packaging in case you need to return the shipment to avoid possible

damage during transportation.

ADE will repair or replace this product if it is proven that it failed within 1 year from the date of

sale (proof of purchase is required) due to faulty workmanship or defective materials. The

above does not apply to all moving parts such as batteries, cables, power adapters,

rechargeable batteries, etc. This warranty does not cover external normal wear and tear or

damage caused by accident or misuse. The warranty will not apply for devices that have

been opened by unauthorised persons. The statutory rights of the customer are not affected

by this agreement in any way.

The dealers where the scale was purchased is responsible for complaints, after-sales service

and spare parts.
