Product Description
DBK Blizzard heater series are a range of convection heaters incorporating self limiting heater
technology for energy efficient and accurate climate control inside equipment enclosures.
All products in this range are IP20.
All products in this range are protection class II
Operating voltage is 100 - 240 V
All powers measured at 10°C ambient temperature
Application
For use inside equipment enclosures to prevent condensation
and provide climatic control.
For use inside Industrial cabinets to prevent condensation and
provide climatic control.
Installation
Installation by trained personnel only
Mount the heater by attached DIN rail clip
This is a high performance heater. Please leave horizontal and vertical clearance H / V = 20 /
50mm for heater type "L", and H / V = 20 / 500mm for heater type "H" for optimized natural
convection and avoid placing directly below heat sensitive components.
Check the labelling of the heater before connecting to the power supply and take care to satisfy
laws and regulations
Do not allow electrical wires to come into contact with the body of the heater or directly in front of
the hot air outlet.
Do not mount the heater near any flammable materials.
A means for disconnection must be provided in the fixed wiring of the system. This must have a
contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, and shall be incorporated in accordance with wiring
regulations.
This equipment should be protected by a Time delay "T" fuse to avoid false tripping due
to cold starting.
Operation
Connect Europa terminal block to live and neutral.

Power at U<140V is ~10% reduced.
Maintenance
There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Disassembly should not be attempted.
Warnings
Never work on live equipment.
Do not touch the heater during operation, as it will be HOT.
The heater will remain hot for several minutes after switch-off; let the heater cool down before
removing or touching.
Do not remove any attached adhesive labels.
