17) Do not approach the spreading rotor while the tractor engine is running. Remember the rotor
continues to rotate for some time after the tractor PTO and engine are stopped. Always wait for
the rotor to come to a complete stop before approaching it.
18) CAUTION: The Abbey AP Spreader has not been designed to travel at speeds over 40km/h and
should be used in line with the road regulations regarding trailed machines in your particular
country.
19) The lifting lugs provided at either end of the machine hopper should be used if the machine is
to be lifted off the ground.

Continuous A-weighted sound level at workstations noise levels exceeds 70 db (a).
Peak C-weighted instantaneous sound pressure exceeds 63 pa.
Caution
The necessary protective devices should be worn when operating the machine.
