Setting the stitch widh

Lever 14 for full adjustment of stitch width.
Stops 15 with knurled nuts 27 limit the stitch
width . the stops can be by-passed by lifting the
lever 14 (Fig 1).
The lever 14 may only be moved during sewing.
When the machine is at a stand-still, the needle
must be out of the fabric.

The lever 13 for the stitch position can be set
from left right in seven positions. It too may be
moved during sewing but again when the
machine is at a standstill ,the needle must be
out of the fabric (Fig. 2).
The stitch is limited to 8 mm on one side when
the needle position is left or right .
Setting the stitch length
The stitch length is set forwards and reverse by
turning the knob(19a)(Fig, 3).
Fine setting for satin stitch:
Press lever 19 downwards. Slide stop 21 to
left
Fine setting with knob 20
If the stop 21 is pushed right again, the machine
