Connections

Depending on the mode chosen, connect the WMC01 either

Directly to a spare VIPEDIA-12 audio input, or

Through a network connection with PoE

See Figure 2 and Figure 3 below for more information.

In analogue mode, the

WMC01 is connected to

the VIPEDIA-12 using a

CAT5 cable.

During initial configuration,

Router 1 on the WMC01 is

connected to a VIPEDIA-

12 microphone input.

Once configuration is

complete, the cable is

moved to Router 2. See

section 3 "Set Up" for

more information.

In IP Mode, two options for powering the WMC01 are available. Both require a PoE network connection – option 1 requires

a PoE capable network switch, option 2 requires an inline PoE power injector e.g. e.g. RS Stock No.873-0737
