3. Use and maintenance
3.1 Commissioning
1. Open the case and put the electric pruning shears and its battery in the corresponding storage
bag, as shown in figure 1.
2. The electric trimmer has a hardwired power cable through the harness and connects to the
battery. Use the harness (the cable of the power supply must be placed in the retention buckle to
avoid cutting the cable when in use) as shown in figures 2, 3 and 4.
3. Take out the electric pruning shears, turn on the battery power switch, until you hear "di" for
once; Check that the batteries supply power normally, as shown in figure 5.
4. Press the trigger continuously and quickly for two times, open the blade automatically, as shown
in figure 6 and 7.
5. Before working, please press the trigger to operate the blade several times and listen if there is
any noise of too fast or too slow phenomena.
6. After you verify that everything is running normally, start working.
7. Blade opening can be changed; press the trigger and release it after hearing "didi" twice; The
blade opening will change automatically.
8. Power off: press the trigger and release it after hearing "dididi" three times; the blade will close
automatically, as shown in figure 8.
9. Turn off the battery switch.
Grades:
(1)- the machine may rise a little temperature during a long time use, although it is a normal process,
please rest assured to continue using.
(two)- After completing the pruning work of each season, or when replacing the blade, you must remove
the blade, add lubricating oil between the blade gear (as shown in figure 9).
3.2 Tips for use
Note:(1) The machine may overheat after continuous use, this is a normal phenomenon. Let the
machine cool down for a while and you can use it again when the temperature drops.
(2) After pruning work is completed, at the end of the season, or when you replace the
blade, and need to remove the blade, add lubricating oil for maintenance of the blade
and cutting system.
While you are pruning, start pruning about 8mm from the shoot; the maximum cutting
diameter is 25mm.
Prune away from the shoot to prevent sap loss from the plant.
