Your ADE PWN5 compact scale with stainless steel housing is a quality product designed for

non-approvable checkweighing.

The scale is remarkable for its easy handling. Thanks to the small digit interval, precise weight

measurements can be performed easily and quickly.

An audible signal in conjunction with freely programmable minimum and maximum limits

expands the possible applications, for example, when weighing recurring weights.

The stainless steel housing is waterproof according to IP67 protection class and can also be

used in wet working environments.

To achieve precise measurement results, please read the operating manual carefully and

follow the instructions contained therein. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

Carefully remove the scale from the packaging.

Level the scale so that all feet are in contact with the installation surface. The footing must be

level and safe.

3.3

 Power is supplied either by means of the included mains adapter or through the

rechargeable batteries installed in the device.

3.4

The scale has a battery status indicator

For mains operation as well as for charging the battery, first

connect the included mains adapter to the connector on the

back of the scale (see illustration on the right) and then to the

mains supply.

Make sure that the voltage of the local mains supply matches the operating voltage of the

scale.

Use only the included mains adapter.

The charging process can take up to five hours.

A fully charged battery can operate continuously up to 14 hours.

If the operating time with fully charged batteries is drastically reduced, the battery must be

replaced. In this case, please contact your local dealer or service partner.
