Required System Inputs
The required system inputs within the Hopper Settings
menu are:

Tap soft keys to toggle the status of the
hopper between active and inactive.

Associated Product
Tap the Associated Product field and select the
product profile from the drop-down list.

Split-Box Hoppers Only: Associated Shoot
Tap the Associated Shoot field for each split-box
hopper. At the Great Plains factory, the front metering
system was preset as Shoot 1, and the rear metering
drive is Shoot 2.
 Metering System Calibration
This section will provide instruction to calibrate the
metering system drive(s). Drills with a Single Hopper
configuration have one metering system. Split-Box
Hopper configurations have two metering systems. At
the Great Plains factory, the front meters have been
preset as Metering System 1 and the rear meters have
been preset as Metering System 2. Great Plains
recommends performing a metering calibration with
each field session, anytime the range gears are
changed or adjusted, and when changing the material.
The following instructions will provide instructions to
calibrate meter(s) across the drill one section at a time.
Great Plains recommends completing work from left-
