3. Loosen the front left screw of the right burner bracket.

Remove the other three screws, and rotate the bracket

clockwise to uncover the slot in the firebox floor (Figure 6).

Connect wiring harnesses for blower and optional

firebox liner backlight kit

NOTE: Use only original, factory-supplied wiring inside fireplace.

1. In the control compartment, use a screwdriver or other

blunt object to carefully break the sealant around the wires.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the wires.

2. Plug the

backlight kit) into the SimFlame™ (flicker) module port with

the red wires (Figure 7).

NOTE: If not installing the SimFlame module, plug the

components outlined in Figure 7) and skip step 3.

3. Plug the power harness (provided with the firebox liner

backlight kit) into the SimFlame Module port with the black

and white wires (Figure 8).

4. Route the lighting wiring up through the access opening,

and slide it into the slot (Figure 8).

5. Plug the power plug end of the power harness into the AUX

OUT port on the fireplace fan control module (Figure 8).

Install reflector (from optional firebox liner backlight kit)

1. Insert the bottom edge of the reflector (provided with the

firebox backlight kit) into the fireplace first. Then, push the

top edge into rear of fireplace (Figure 9).

NOTE: Lift the reflector over the tabs on the rear ledge of the fireplace

2. Align the large hole in the lower face of the reflector over

the screw in the firebox rear wall.

3. Align the screw holes in the top and bottom edges of reflector

with the rearmost holes in the fireplace ceiling and rear ledge.

Secure the reflector using six (6) #10-16 x 3/8 hex-head sheet

metal screws provided with the firebox liner backlight kit.

the upper hole in the inside wall of the fireplace (Figure 10).
