MOUNTING /INSTALLATION OF THE FAN (Continued):
8. Carefully reinstall the hanger ball onto the
downrod ensuring that the cross pin is in the
correct position, the set screw on hanger ball is
tight and the wires are not twisted
9. Lift the motor assembly into position and place
the hanger ball into the hanging bracket. Rotate
the downrod until the check tab has dropped
into the registration slot, and the downrod and
ball assembly seat firmly. NB: The downrod and
ball assembly should NOT rotate if this is done
correctly.
10. For Timber Blades
Remove protective sleeve from the motor shaft
and attach the timber blades. IMPORTANT: The
set screw in the blade hub MUST be counter
sunk into the bore hole on the flattened side of
the motor shaft, or the blades may disengage
from the motor shaft during operation.
11. An additional safety support is provided to
prevent the fan from falling. Secure the safety
cable directly to the joist or support brace with
a screw and washer. (Refer figure 9)
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
WARNING: The power should have already been
disconnected, check again before making any
wiring connections.
1. Set the knob on the wall control to the '0' (off) position.
