3-3. Installing Tool Chest Under Solid Top

For solid top, use brackets and
hardware that came with the
tool chest.

Tool Chest
Use four bolts CC that came with
the tool chest and install brackets to
top of tool chest.
Do not tighten bolts at this time.
Measure distance between inside
of the leg assemblies at locations
shown.
Measure and set the outside
distance of brackets 1/16 in.
(1.6 mm)
less
than
assembly measurements.
Tighten bracket bolts and verify
correct measurements.

Use two people to raise tool
chest/bracket assembly.
Raise tool chest/bracket assembly
into position. Brackets should be to
inside of angle iron on subframes.
Use the supplied four bolts AA and
install tool chest assembly to the
welding table.
Tighten all hardware at this time.
Tools Needed:
hex bit 3/16 in.
