Fluid solenoid valves contain diodes in their
connectors. This diode prevents electrical
surges from damaging relay contacts in the
keypad controller. Connections at fluid
solenoid valve are pre-wired († Fig. 6).
Fluid solenoid valve is normally closed and
pilot-operated. Valve is equipped with an
LED indicator and manual override.
When energized, valve opens and allows
fluid to be dispensed from control valve.
Fluid solenoid valves are suitable for
motor/gear oils, automatic transmission
fluid, antifreeze/water mix or windshield
washer fluid.

NOTE
Do not wire fluid solenoid incorrectly.
Wire polarity must be maintained
when connecting fluid solenoid. Red
wire is positive + and connects to
terminal 1 and black wire is negative
- and connects to terminal 2.
Failure to comply will result in damage
to equipment.
