two-tier system, expanding the number of available channels. The
number of connected servers can be expanded up to 64.

To organize a "two-tier" system, just connect one or multiple
SM27A17643 switches to a SM27A17643 switch.
All SM27A17643 switches connected to the same SM27A17643 switch are
the SECOND-TIER devices, and the FIRST-TIER SM27A17643 switch that
connects these second-tier devices is the "base switch".
Servers can be connected to any available channel ports in the system,
including channel ports on the base switch.
