Fiber Optics and Instruments
6.4.1 Replacing a Fiber Optic Bulb
To replace a bulb in a five hole tubing configuration (see Figure 6.4 - A)
1. Remove the handpiece from the tubing.
2. Using the PVC bulb handle, insert lamp into the lamp socket. Do not touch glass
portion of the bulb with your fingers.
To modify a five-hole configuration to work with a six pin fiber optic handpiece,
remove the fiber optic bulb from the handpiece tubing and insert the ISO adapter
provided in the Accessory Kit.
