from the detergent
drawer.

and machine "wander-
ing" during the spin cycle.
The touch display does
not work while the appli-
ance is running.
There are noises after the
programme starts Active-
Oxygen Refresh Ø.

dry after the ActiveOxy-
gen Refresh Ø

the ActiveOxygen
Refresh Ø programme.

removed satisfactorily
after the ActiveOxygen
Refresh Ø programme.
There is detergent resi-
due on the laundry.
When the appliance is
paused, A flashes and
è lights up.
Cause/remedy
Run the Drum Clean or Cottons 90 °C programme without laundry.
Add standard washing powder or a detergent that contains bleach.
Note:
To prevent foaming, only use half the amount of detergent recommended
by the detergent manufacturer. Do not use detergents intended for woollens or
delicates.
Have you used too much detergent?
Mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with half a litre of water and pour it into
compartment II (not suitable for outdoor clothing, sportswear or items made
with down).
Use less detergent for the next wash cycle.
Is the appliance level? Level the appliance. ~ Page 16
Are the appliance's feet secured? Secure the appliance's feet. ~ Page 16
Have the transport braces been removed? Remove the transport braces.
~ Page 14
Has there been a power failure?
Have the fuses blown/has the circuit breaker tripped? Switch on the circuit
breaker/replace the fuses.
If the fault occurs repeatedly, call the after-sales service.
Not a fault – the appliance is filled with water to create mist; operating noises
from the fan and pump can be heard when it is doing this.
Was residual water removed before laundry was added?
Level the appliance. The active oxygen treatment can only work properly if
the appliance is levelled correctly. ~ Page 16
Active oxygen leaves a specific odour on the laundry following treatment. Shake
out the laundry briefly.
The active oxygen treatment is less effective if the drum is dirty. Run the
Drum Clean programme before using the appliance for the first time, and
regularly thereafter.
Have you loaded too much laundry? Do not exceed the maximum load.
Leave the door and detergent drawer open so that any residual water can
evaporate. ~ Page 37
Some phosphate-free detergents contain water-insoluble residue.
Select Rinse or brush the laundry after washing.
The water level is too high. It is not possible to add laundry. Close the door
immediately if necessary.
Touch A to continue the programme.
