Screw the thread by hand and without any
force.
Safe filling
1. Hold the discharge hose in the filling container.
2. Open the shut-off valve on the discharge hose.
3. Activate the piston rod by using the handle
and fill off the liquid.
CAUTION!
A too heavy lateral load can deform the piston rod
and cause a leakage of the pump head.

Move the piston rod up and down in a straight line.
CAUTION!
Fluid ejection off the filling container. Bodily injury
due to escaping liquid.

Wear the necessary protective clothing.

Troubleshooting
Problem
Liquid is not pumped.
Annex
Operational directive in accordance with 1999/92/EC:
Zone 0
a potentially explosive atmosphere is
assumed to be continuously present
Zone 1
a potentially explosive atmosphere is
assumed to be occasionally present
Zone 2
a potentially explosive atmosphere is
not anticipated (and if it does occur,
then only rarely and briefly)

To eliminate the error
Bottom valve is polluted. Clean the pump.
If there is only little residual liquid in the container, the pumping must be carried
out for a longer time.
Completing filling and dismounting
1. After the last pump stroke, leave the piston rod in
the lower position and insert it into the pump up to
the stop.
2. Close the shut-off valve on the discharge hose.
3. To prevent any liquid continue to run (siphoning
principle), fix the discharge hose above the liquid
level in the original container.
WARNING!
Some liquid will continue to run after the
discharge hose is unscrewed. Bodily injury due to
escaping liquid.

Close the shut-off valve on the discharge hose.

Raise the discharge hose and allow the liquid to
run back into the container.
4. Unscrew the discharge hose.
5. Carefully unscrew the instrument from the cont-
ainer.
6. Rinse the instrument with a pH-neutral fluid.
