■ Preparation
Prepare the following items before the installation. The necessary items and their lengths differ depending on situation.

Note: When you use the alarm output and Wiegand terminals, you need optional cables suited for the connectors of the exter-
nal devices. Use the UL style 1571 or equivalents, AWG 22 - 16 wire.

■ Notification about the Installation Site
This iris camera is limited to indoor use.
Near-infrared light (contained in sunlight, incandescent light and halogen light) are used for iris image capturing by the iris
camera. If the iris camera is installed in a place which receives this light directly, it may cause invalid iris data
enrollment/recognition, as the camera cannot capture iris images properly.
Keep the iris camera away from the following. Otherwise, light may affect on the iris camera.
• Outdoor places
• Direct sunlight or light reflection
• Incandescent or halogen lighting
• Places where the iris camera or the user's eyes are directly exposed to light
Note: A quantity of acceptable near-infrared ray is 500 µW/cm
• Places near the light reflection (from a mirror, etc.)
• Places where the amount of light is not appropriate for operation
