SAFETY ITEM: It is imperative that the top mounting bolt extend through both cylinder walls
and through the square key tube. The lift may malfunction if the square key is not properly
engaged and injury could result.
Place turning handle in position and reinsert the 1/2" bolt through all three components. Place
locknut on end of bolt and tighten to snug.

WATER CONNECTION

Connect the water hose to the valve
and turn on the water supply. Do
not leave the water turned on when
the lift is not in frequent use.
Your IGMT pool lift operates using
normal household water pressures of
55-65 PSI. No electricity is used.
With sufficient water pressure and
proper installation, the IGMT will
lift a 300 lb. individual. If your
water pressure exceeds 70 PSI,
a reducer is necessary to prevent
damage to the lift. Although 55-65
PSI is required to lift the rated load,
less weight can be lifted wiht lower
pressures.
In low pressure situations, a pump can be added to boost pressure. If a pump is used, do not
use water from the swimming pool to power the lift. Chemicals from the pool water may
damage the internal components of the lift. Follow the pump manufacturer's instructions and
consult local building codes if you are installing a pump that exceeds 45 PSI. Never allow the
pump's pressure to exceed 70 PSI. Excessive pressure can damage the lift.
Some customers prefer to install a recessed water connection specifically for the lift. Place water
connection so that it doesn't interfere with the user's feet on rotation.

ATTACH SEAT

Turn the water on. Operate the control so that the seat tube/piston rod contracts into the cylinder.
Check for any leaks. If necessary, tighten valve. Rotate the seat to a position over the deck and
attach the seat with provided bolt. Secure with a lock nut and tighten snug.
