A stereo
FM program
cannot
be received
in
stereo.
• Press FM MODE (or STEREO/MONO
for MHC-
GX25 and MItC-RG220
(except for European
and Russian molls))
until "MONO"
disappears.
Tape
deck
The tape does not record
or play, or there
is a
decrease
in sound
level.
• The he_ds ore dirty. Clean them (p_ge 30).
• The record/playback
heads are magnetised.
Demagnetise
them (page
3(I).
The tape does not erase
completely.
• The record/playback
heads are m_gnetised.
Demagnetise
them (page
30).
There is excessive
wow or flutter,
or the sound
drops
out.
• The c_ps_ans or pinch rollers are dirty. Clean them
(p_ge 30).
Noise increases
or the high frequencies
are
erased.
• The record/playback
heads are m_gnetised.
Demagnetise
them (page
30).
The tape
does not record.
• No cassette
is loaded.
Load a cassette.
• The tab has been removed
from the cassette.
Cover file broken
tab with adhesive
t_pe
(p_ge 30).
• The t_pe has wound
to the end.
One of the following
messages
may appear or
flash in the display during operation.
CD/MP3
NO DISC
There is no disc in tile player.
OVER
You have reached
tile end o|'_he disc while pressing
during playback
or pause.
If the
system
still
does
not
operate
properly
after
performing
the
above
measures,
reset
the
system
as follows:
1
Disconnect
the power cord.
2 Reconnect the power cord.
3 Press I, GROOVE and I/_
at the same
time.
4 Press I/(_ to turn on the system.
The system is reset to the factory settings.
You
should set the settings you made, such as lhe
preset stations, clock, and timer.
