Pressing ENTER alone will take you to the standard ToolsCenter menu should you need to run diagnostics or collect DSA. An image
of that menu is shown on the last page of this document (Figure 16). To update the firmware, press Y and enter.
If the Asset Tag contains the correct Appliance VPD, the firmware update will begin. Be advised, some of the peripheral updates may
fail depending on what adapters are in the machine. For example, in the image below, the Emulex Adapter update failed as the
appliance type updated did not contain an Emulex adapter. This is normal behavior. Errors with return code 12 or Failure / Error code
1542 can be ignored (device not present).
