Operation
The device is portable thanks to its compact design. Select the place of installation for the device on a
stable floor, table, cabinet or similarly stable support. The device can be placed in the immediate
vicinity of you and other people, in the middle of the room or directly against the wall. The device
should not stand in the way / walkways so as to be protected against being involuntarily tipped over.
Before changing its location, the device must be switched off with the main switch and the mains plug
must be disconnected from the mains socket.
Operating Conditions
Normal Operating Conditions:
- ambient temperature 20C±°5°C
- relative humidity 65%±15%
Acceptable Operating Conditions:
- ambient temperature of 10C°to 35°C
- relative humidity up to 95%
Storage conditions (upper and lower limits):
- ambient temperature of -30C° to 60°C
The average service life of the device is at least 10 years.
7.2.1
First time start-up
Before switching on the device for the first time, ensure that it has warmed up to room temperature
and that there is no visible condensation. When switching on, note the following:
•
The device is operated with a mains voltage of 220V/50Hz.
•
The working position of the device is vertical.
•
The ventilation openings of the device should always remain unobstructed
(Figure 1).
•
The device will require approximately 20 minutes to warm up to operating
temperature after being switched on.
7.3
ECO – Mode
The ARPACK AirClean AC 30 has an Eco mode (see Figure 2), this uses less energy than normal
continuous operation. To achieve this, the AC 30 automatically switches between the collection
phase and the "cold" combustion phase.
For use only in rooms with a low expected load (few people and animals).
