Putting Into Operation
■
Before the LEDs can glow, the battery must be charged up for
approx. 6 to 8 hours.
■
Do not put up the solar lights in the shade (e.g. not below tree-
tops). If possible, they should be able to receive direct sunlight
all day long.
■
The solar lights should not be placed near to other light sourc-
es so that the LEDs can switch on automatically.
1. Unpack the items supplied and remove all possible protective
fi lms (e.g. from the solar panel) and stickers. Check all parts
for possible transport damage. In the event of any damage,
please contact our customer service department immediately.
2. For each light, unscrew the solar unit from the lamp shade,
slide the switch to position C (activating the colour change
LED) or W (activating the white LED).
3. Screw the solar unit onto the lamp shade.
4. Set up the solar light or plug the
stem onto the bottom of the solar
light and the ground spike into it.
The light can then be anchored in
the ground.
The battery will now charge up in
daylight. When darkness sets in,
the LED automatically switches on.
When it gets light, it switches off and
the battery is charged up via the so-
lar panel.
5. To switch off the light entirely, slide the switch to the OFF posi-
tion.
