Before Initial Use
Water residues in the cleaning agent container are attribut-
able to the fact that this article has been tested and do not
constitute a defect.
•
Unpack all parts and remove all protective fi lms or stickers.
Check the items supplied for completeness and possible trans-
port damage. If you should fi nd any transport damage, do not
use the article(!), but contact the customer service department.
•
Assemble the article.
•
Clean the article with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent if
necessary.
Assembly
1. Insert the upper shaft (3) into the lower shaft (4) until you hear
it engage.
2. Plug the lower shaft into the shaft holder on the fl oor sweep-
er (11) until you hear it engage.
3. Attach the cleaning cloth (9) to the cleaning foot (10) using the
Velcro fastener.
4. Insert the fl oor sweeper into the cleaning foot. It is held in the
cleaning foot by the two magnets.
The article is now ready for use!
Use
Dry Cleaning
1. Pull the fl oor sweeper (11) off the cleaning foot (10) if neces-
sary.
2. Slide the fl oor sweeper back and forth over the surface which
is to be cleaned. The dirt is picked up by the rotating brush and
the blade on the bottom and collected in the dirt container.
3. Empty the dirt container after every clean (see "Cleaning and
Storage").

Wet Cleaning
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Make sure when cleaning laminate fl oors that not too much
cleaning liquid is sprayed onto the fl oor as the laminate could
swell!
1. Pull the cleaning agent container (5) out of the spray head (6).
2. Unscrew the lid of the cleaning agent container.
3. Pour water and / or a cleaning agent into the cleaning agent
container. Note the instructions on the cleaning agent when
doing this.
4. Close the cleaning agent container and plug it into the spray
head until it engages.
5. Now mop the fl oor in the usual way:
– if necessary, press the spray trigger (2) to make the fl oor
damp with the aid of the spray nozzle (7),
– move the cleaning foot (10) over the surface to be cleaned.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or clean-
ing pads to clean the article.
■
Only ever dry the cleaning cloth in the air, and never use a
tumble dryer or a hair dryer to do this!
•
Hold the fl oor sweeper (11) over an open dustbin and press the
release button for the dirt container (8). The dirt container fl ips
open and can be emptied.
•
Regularly free any fl uff etc. from the roller in the fl oor sweeper.
The roller can be removed to do this:
– Take off the two latches (marked L and R) by pressing down
the locking catch and releasing the latches.
– Clean the roller.
– Then insert the roller again.
– Insert the latch marked L on the left side and the one marked
R on the right side. They must engage audibly.

Pull the cleaning cloth (9) off the cleaning foot (10). It can be
washed in the washing machine. Do not use any fabric soften-
er as this can reduce the suction of the cleaning cloth! Follow
the instructions on the washing label. Then allow the cleaning
cloth to dry in the air.
•
Clean the article with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent if
necessary.
•
Keep the article out of the reach of children and animals in a
clean place.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre. Dispose
of the article in an environmentally friendly manner as well.
