Using the scale

Carefully unpack the scale and remove all packaging materials. Place the scale on a level,

stable surface.

Align the scales using the levelling feet (1). Make sure that the

air bubble of the spirit level (2) is centred in the black frame.

First loosen the locking screw (3) and then turn the black

locking handle (4) on the scales dial stand by 180° counter-

clockwise to unlock.

When the scale is aligned precisely as described

above, the pointer (5) should be at zero. Otherwise,

use the adjusting screw (6) to adjust the scale.

To adjust the damper, first loosen the screw plug

(7) and then remove the service lid (8).

The damper should be adjusted while it is on the

grooved wheel on top of the piston rod. If you

notice that the pointer moves faster, turn the

wheel clockwise. If you notice that the pointer

moves slower, turn the wheel counter-clockwise.
