When unplugging the machine, always pull the plug, not the cord. Pulling the cord can damage it. Use of a
damaged power cord could result in fire or electric shock.

Be sure to push the power plug fully into the wall outlet. A partially inserted plug creates an unstable
connection that can result in an unsafe buildup of heat.

Be sure to disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and clean the pins and the area around the pins at least
once a year. Allowing dust to build up on the plug constitutes a fire hazard.
