2.2.7 Removal of Pulley Set and Pressure Spring

Remove the Timing Belt from the Pulley Set. (Refer to Step 9 in the Removal of

Carriage Unit.)

Insert the flat-blade screwdriver into the engagement of the Pulley Set and Pressure

Spring, and remove the Pressure Spring.

When removing the Pulley Set/Pressure Spring, fully be careful not to

C A U T I O N

push the Pressure Spring too much since the Pressure Spring may pop

out.

Slide the Pulley Set to the rear, and remove it from the Lower Housing.
