Make sure that the hea ng tubes are en rely covered with liquid before placing into opera on.

The circula on of the liquid shall not be inhibited.

I m p o r t a n t i n f o r m a t i o n

If a heat exchanger is ﬁ ed in the same tank, the controller must limit the temperature caused by the

heat exchanger to 85 °C. This prevents the safety temperature limiter of the ﬂange heater tripping.

S a f e t y t e m p e r a t u r e l i m i t e r

The safety temperature limiter may trip at temperatures lower than approx. –15 °C (e. g. transporta-

on or storage). If this happens, press the reset bu on. See the sec on intended for experts in the user

manual.

Please note:

This hea ng element is applicable in stainless steel boiler as well as in black steel / black steel enam-

elled boilers. Select the se ngs via DIP switch according to the boiler type.

For an installa on of the hea ng element into black steel or black steel enamelled boilers, the red slide

switch (DIP switch) has to be le in posi on "2" (factory se ng).

When installing the hea ng element into a stainless steel or chrome steel boiler, the slide switch

(DIP switch) has to be switched to posi on "ON".

In case of disregard corrosion damages on device and boiler could be caused.
