Intended use

•

The product is intended for lighting in dry indoor areas only. It

is not suitable for use in damp or humid rooms, e.g. bathrooms.

•

The product must not be used for shining light directly on hu-

mans, animals or plants.

•

The product is not a toy!

•

The product is intended for private, non-commercial use.

•

Use the product only as described in the instruction manual.

Any other use is regarded as improper.

Safety instructions

Please read all safety instructions, technical data and other

important information to avoid hazards.

WARNING – shock hazard

■

Only use and store in closed areas.

■

Do not use in areas with high humidity.

■

Never immerse product and the connection cable in water

or other liquids, and ensure that they do not fall into water or

become wet.

■

Should the product fall into water, immediately disconnect the

power supply. Do not try to pull the device out of the water while

it is connected to the mains!

■

Never touch the product or connection cable with wet hands if

the product is connected to the mains.

■

The product must always be unplugged before cleaning.

WARNING – ﬁ re and explosion hazard

■

Do not use the product in rooms containing easily ﬂ ammable

or explosive substances. Never operatethe product near gas

sources.

■

Do not coverthe product during operation, and ensure that

there is suﬃ cient air circulation.

■

The luminaire may only be installed at a minimum distance of

20 cm from ﬂ ammable materials, such as curtains, etc.

Keep plastic bags and foils away from children and animals.

There is a danger of suﬀ ocation.

■

Do not look directly into the light or use optical aids to look

directly at it. Never point the light directly at other people or

animals.

■

Make sure that the connection cable is not a tripping hazard.

■

Do not operatethe product if there is visible damage to the

product or the connection cable, or if the product has been ex-

posed to liquid.

■

Only use the product if it has been correctly assembled.

■

Do not make any changes to the product. The LED cannot be

replaced. To avoid hazards, the product may only be taken

apart and/or repaired by the manufacturer, customer service

or a person with similar qualiﬁ cations (at a workshop, for ex-

ample).

NOTICE – risk of material and property damage

Only use and storethe product in normal ambient temperatures

up to +40 °C.

■

Only use the power adapter included and make sure the pow-

er outlet it is plugged into has been properly installed and is

compatible with the power adapter's technical data. The socket

must be easily accessible, so that the network connection can

be quickly disconnected.

■

Protect the product from sources of heat, open ﬂ ames, pro-

longed humidity and impacts.

■

Do not place any heavy objects on the product or its connec-

tion cable.

■

If the product is moved from colder to warmer areas, condensa-

tion may also form inside the device. Wait until the product has

reached room temperature before turning it on.

■

Lay the connection cable in such a way that it is not crushed or

bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.

■

Turn oﬀ and unplug the product immediately in case of damage

or malfunction.

■

Unplug the power adapter from the outlet before a storm.

■

When pulling out of the socket, always pull on the adapter and

never on the power cord. Never pull or carry the product by the

power cord.

■

Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not

to impair the functioning of the product and to prevent possible

damage.

■

To protect the surface, do not use corrosive or abrasive clean-

ers. Wipe the product with a damp cloth as required. Then dry

it oﬀ .
